Who Is Behind This Blog
Hi, I’m Minseok Song — a data and AI professional based in Australia with over a decade of experience working across data engineering, analytics, and machine learning in fast-moving companies.
I currently work as a Staff Data Engineer, where I build data infrastructure and analytics systems that power business decisions at scale. Over my career I’ve worked hands-on with a wide range of data platforms, cloud tools, automation pipelines, and — more recently — AI and LLM-powered applications in real production environments.
That technical background is what makes AITooled different. When I review or recommend an AI tool, I’m not just reading the marketing copy — I understand what’s happening under the hood, what the real limitations are, and whether it actually delivers on its promises for business use.
I also run two other blogs covering data science and personal finance, so I bring a multidisciplinary lens to how AI tools intersect with business, money, and decision-making.
